It is believed that this item gives "+1", or +1%, to the effects of each type of Rusk. So for example: Coconut Rusk gives +3 HQ success rate, and this ring would make it +4. It should also make the Rate of synthesis material loss increase from -6% to -7%.

According to Freshly Picked Vana'diel #58 at around the 21:20 mark, it is confirmed that the effect of this ring is not received when a Rusk is eaten. Instead, it is received upon beginning a Synthesis with the ring equipped and a Rusk effect active.
