Notes

• Mineral Worms have a chance of spawning upon an unsuccessful mining attempt.
• Qiqirn Miners will become hostile after an Orichalcum Ore has been mined.

Walkthrough

The goal of this Assault is to mine up an Orichalcum Ore from the mining points scattered around the map. The mined ore is a temporary item (You may not use a real ore in your inventory to complete this Assault). As soon as the ore has been mined up the Qiqirns will switch from being NPCs to aggressive monsters (You can avoid aggroing Qiqirns by using Invisible).

1. To begin the Assault speak to Mulwahah (H-8) and he will give you a Pickaxe temporary item (Normal pickaxes cannot be used for this assault).

• Unlike a normal Pickaxe where it must be traded to to the Mining Point, you may simply interact (i.e. talk) to the Mining Point.

2. Search for a Mining Point and interact with it. One of the following will occur:

• You obtain an Orichalcum Ore.
• You mine up a Pebble or Zinc Ore which will then be placed in the party's treasure pool.
• You are unable to mine anything.
• Your Pickaxe breaks. You will need to return to Mulwahah to obtain a new one.
• A Mineral Worm spawns with aggro. Mineral Worms have very low HP but decent attack. You may run out of its attack and casting range and continue looking for more mining points. However, they must be defeated to access the same mining point (Note: The defeated worm must despawn until the mining point can be mined from again).

3. When an Orichalcum Ore has been obtained all Qiqirn Miners will become hostile. It is recommended to put up Invisible at this point and run back to Mulwahah. Once the person with the Orichalcum Ore has spoken to him the Assault will be completed.
