Deathborne Gate: Palloritus
- Wave 1: PLD Supertank on formors, the team pull one by one monster, they repop on the map until all 20's are deafeated.
Wave 2: One PLD Pull back the Corses to the ally for Time -aga then the second PLD just hold the Dullahan until all the coreses was defeated, then zerg NM. (keep in mind to deafeat NM far from the middle (close to the extremity wall to avoid wave 3 aggro).
Wave 3: One PLD supertank 2 monster and the second PLD tank the third fomor, repeat 4 time that to kill all 12 fomors. Wave 4: We currently clear it with this ideal setup: PLD PLD WHM BRD GEO GEO // RNG RNG RNG COR BRD RDM // BLM BLM BLM COR SCH BLU(-aga stun) SC + MB on NM and timed BLM-aga+BLU Aoe Stun on regular trash mob.
- Alternate setup:
Similar to the above, but with melees (WAR MNK THF BST NIN SAM DRG RUN) instead of RNG and BLM. More healing intensive, but more flexible and inclusive. -anonymous
Duskbrood Gate: Putraxia
- Area 1: One PLD Pull back the elemental to the ally for Time -aga then the second PLD just hold the Umbril until all the elemental was defeated, then zerg NM.
Area 2: One PLD Pull back the elemental to the ally for Time -aga then the second PLD just hold the Pixie until all the elemental was defeated, then zerg NM.
she knockback very often so tank it back to the wall
Zone Boss: One PLD Pull back the elemental to the ally for Time -aga then the second PLD just hold the Putraxia until all the elemental was defeated, then zerg NM.
We currently clear it with this ideal setup: PLD PLD WHM BRD GEO GEO // RNG RNG RNG COR BRD RDM // BLM BLM BLM COR SCH BLU(-aga stun) SC + MB on NM and timed BLM-aga+BLU Aoe Stun on regular trash mob. -anonymous
Brash Gate: Rancibus
- We currently clear it with this ideal setup:
PLD PLD WHM BRD GEO GEO // RNG RNG RNG COR BRD RDM // BLM BLM BLM COR SCH BLU(-aga stun) SC + MB on NM and timed BLM-aga+BLU Aoe Stun on regular trash mob. -anonymous
Perfidien
- You do not need to kill the elementals with a Tier IV or V, simply using a Tier IV or V to deal enough damage and then finishing it off with a Tier III will satisfy the first goal to spawn Perfidien. There also seems to be some importance to killing them quickly after pull/claim. Our group was not getting credit for those killed after a long pull, either too much time or moving them out of their normal area had an effect on registering the kill. --Kvasta (talk) 14:49, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
- Can be spawned and killed with as few as 7 people. PLD (WHM or RDM) (BRD or COR) GEO BLM BLM SAM. SAM takes a BLM's spot during skillchain phase, then sits solo in a party without engaging during the boss. PLD will need a Magic Damage Taken set and their back to a wall for knockback. Perfidien does strong area of effect, so only PLD should be in range.
At 90% and lower HP, Perfidien changes elemental weakness every 10-15%. This will be marked with blue or red trigger !!s (similar to Abyssea/Voidwatch) and emote text announcing the element after somebody correctly hits it. Hitting the wrong element will cause an Encumbrance status effect (cannot swap gear) that lasts for a certain amount of time based on damage dealt, with hitting it with the element it's strong also curing it (e.g. on Fire mode, hitting with Ice cures it). - anonymous
- TP Moves
- Blast of Reticence: deals damage and applies silence.
- Frozen Blood: deals damage and applies paralyze.
- Eternal Misery: deals damage and applies zombie.
- Ensepulcher: deals damage and applies petrification.
- Bane of Tartarus: strips all buffs, including food, and applies weakness. Weakness lasts about one minute.

Popping Perfidien and Plouton - Speed Objective
After extensive testing, it has become clear that the prevailing wisdom about using magic to kill elementals is simply incorrect. We were able to reliably evolve the Prototype pearl of ashen wings and Prototype pearl of the false king by killing elementals quickly with any different method. This included one-shots, paired-up nukes from multiple characters, Leaden Salute (wrong element), and Savage Blade (not even magic). As far as I can tell, the only requirements are you must first get on the enemy's hate list, then quickly kill it by any method. Exact time limit unknown. After 5 and 10 such kills, respectively, the prototype pearls will evolve. I will work this info into the main page somehow, but probably needs a little bit of restructuring to make sense. - Positron (talk) 02:47, 28 January 2023 (EST)
