The Heishi Shorinken (Heishi Shorin-ken) is one of the national treasures of Japan. Likely brought to Japan from mainland Asia the Heishi Shorinken is currently owned by the Shitennoji Temple in Osaka. The Heishi Shorinken is a short sword (68cm) with the Chinese characters reading 'Hei Shi Sho Rin' engraved in gold on the side of the blade. Given this, it's in-game depiction is actually very accurate.
