well this month IMO there's a few things depending on what's prio on your chars:
- If you're missing trusts, it's good to check and top up if you're going to 80 trusts to open up RoE objectives - If you're after reforged armor - there's different tiers for items depending on the armor slot. I would make a spreadsheet to figure out what you need. There's also rem's tales too, but maybe those are better to get from High-Tier battlefields than to spend points from Login. - If you're after unique things - collectible mounts are always good, and also there's a new synergy furnace II that's the same model as the ones in Limbus. I would suggest clarify the line "Normally, players could carry over 1500 Login Points to the next month. Beginning in November, the Login Point system and its rewards were revamped. Going forward, only 700 Login Points will carry over to the next month." To mention only the 700p, it can lead to confusion and we're closing in a new year. April/May 2026 weapon notes:
- Feline Hagoita +1 is all jobs +5% DA, best non-Kraken Club for Abyssea (lol.)
- Firetongue +1/Excalipoor II are in a big tie for second lowest delay sword (beaten only by the Ibushi Shinai +1 from the Feast of Swords) for Abyssea.
And some less important stuff:
- Beastmen's Seal etc. should probably also be priority "as needed"? Putting them as "Medium" might make people think they should buy them other than as a point sink.
- Might want to mention that the Savory Shank etc (as well as the Beastly Shank NQ tier) are used to evolve Monster Rearing monsters, but if people want that they should know it?
- Broken link on Murky Mantle.
- You have "used to enter themed instances battlefields", should be "themed instanced" I assume.

New info coming in about the Orvail Box Key:
- Keys can be purchased from Shabi in Western Adoulin for 10k gil, once per game day (so about once per 1hr IRL)
- Keys are used to open a chest dropped by new NMs in Adoulin areas. The NMs are trivial fights, and the box stays active for 3min - claiming party can open it for free, but any other player can open it with a key. (Claiming party can also use a key for a second roll). NMs respawn every 20min.
- Boxes have a chance to drop new gear: Ruwa Armor Set (heavy melee), Olorun Armor Set (light melee), Egbesu Attire Set (mages), Nzame Attire Set (RNG/COR).
- Gear quality is similar to Ambuscade +2, and supposedly will be +X-able in the future to reach similar strength to Malignance gear.
- Gear drops are not guaranteed - you might get common monster parts or other trash instead.
The gear seems to be good for newer players, but paying 500 login points for a 10k gil key that has a chance to give you garbage... doesn't seem worth it at all. --Boblers (talk) 19:46, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for the data. As far as tooltips, I'm not a big fan of them, especially so for items whose descriptions are vague or meaningless. For equipment with visible, meaningful stats, I think they are great for seeing what the gear is at a glance. I don't believe seeing the item description of Beastmen's Seals or Rem's Chapters or whatever add any valuable information and can just serve to clutter the screen when your mouse happens to hover over it. However, I do think they work for recommending +1 versions of gear. Hya (talk) 20:40, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
