- This spell can only be learned once an Imp's instrumental horn has been broken via critical hits.
- An imp will regain it's horn after a short amount of time.
- Clammy Imps in Abyssea - Vunkerl seem to use Frenetic Rip even when their horns are intact, making it an ideal area to learn as Blue Mage.
