 Start NPC: Hieronymus - Bastok Markets (S) - (E-8)
 Campaign Rank: Bronze Ribbon of Service §
 Objective: Travel to Ruhotz Silvermines via North Gustaberg (K-9) and assist in the supervision of troop training exercies. Do what is necessary to prevent any accidents.
 Mission Orders: For this operation, you'll have to head over to the training grounds and teach a nugget what side to the axe to hold.
 Time Limit:  30 min  Recommended Lv.  Any

Walkthrough

  • Talk to Hieronymus
  • Exit to North Gustaberg (S), follow the wall to the west to find the Allied Ensign.
    • Party of 3 or greater required.
  • Once the party leader has selected to enter, you will be transported into Ruhotz Silvermines.
  • You will come across a Soldier, who immediately runs towards a Trained Crab and begins attacking.
    • During this time, you will see messages that display how much attention he is giving to the fight:
      • The soldier seems unfocused...
      • The soldier has begun to train harder!
      • The soldier is fighting with vigor!
  • Once the crab defeated, the Mission Objective is complete.
    • It is probably a good strategy to let the soldier tank until he is fighting with vigor, then attack the crab.
    • If the soldier never gains focus, you lose the mission.
  • Return and talk to Hieronymus for your reward.

Notes

  • There seems to be no time limit to how long you can take to get to Ruhotz Silvermines.
  • The soldier will die if left alone, however can cure himself.
  • The crab lasts a long while, and seems to shift hate very often.
  • The crab seems to have around 8000-10000 HP.
