1. Obtain a 
Phobos Orb:
- Purchase a Phobos Orb from Shami in Port Jeuno (H-8), costing 30
Kindred's Crest.
- Phobos Orbs are single use and will deplete after completing the KCNM. The depleted orb will remain in your inventory and must be discarded manually.
- When in a party, only the player interacting with the KCNM's entrance will deplete their orb, making it cost efficient to group up!
2. Enter a KCNM Battlefield:
- Complete one of the Kindred Crest Notorious Monster fights listed below to obtain
Shami's key.
- Every party member inside the battlefield receives the Key Item.
3. Open the Treasure Chest:
- Return to Port Jeuno (H-8) and select one of the three treasure chests in front of Shami. You might just get an unimaginable treasure...if you're lucky.
- Opening any chest will consume your Shami's key.

It is currently unknown if there is any difference between the three treasure chests.
