Zone Information

Climbing sector floors within Temenos is done by navigating the floor to a Matter Diffusion Module which must be examined to open a selection menu of available floors to choose from. Once chosen, the player will teleport/transport immediately to the selected floor.

  • Monsters taking actions against players trying to use the Matter Diffusion Module will be met with an error message in their chat log displaying "Event skipped," which will immediately cancel them from the menu. For this reason, it is ideal to sleep or break the monster engaged with you, or bind it some safe distance away from the Matter Diffusion Module to allow safe passage. Players can also be menu skipped by other players taking actions against them while in-menu.

All enemies in all zones and sectors of Limbus carry an innate -50% damage taken. Coupled with any special resistances the family classification may have, this can greatly diminish the amount of damage a target will take. The beastmen will all link with their specific family using their standard type of detection (e.g. - Goblins will link by sight, where Quadav link by sound.) This makes pulling one target at a time almost entirely impossible. To make matters more interesting, the monsters all have a 1 minute respawn timer from the moment one is defeated.

Standard practice is to sneak and invisible to the end of the floor and pull a handful of the monsters closest to the Matter Diffusion Module, sleeping/breaking remaining unnecessary targets when the temporary item related to the current floor is obtained, and teleporting to the next floor.

Temenos sectors are chock full of Beastmen encounters primarily, with a mix of other family types as you climb each floor. For the Beastmen in Temenos East you will find:

  • Orc
  • Quadav
  • Yagudo
  • Cryptonberry
  • Antica
  • Sahagin
  • Gigas
  • Goblins (usually grouped with a single Moblin)
  • Meebles

This sector also showcases some Luminians, such as:

  • Aerns
  • Euvhi

As well as Luminions like:

  • Ghrahs
    • Ghrahs present an additional challenge for players in that when they are not in "sphere" form they are True Sound Aggressive, making navigation through them sometimes more dangerous.

Mixed among these encounters, this sector holds some Elementals, such as:

  • Pixies
  • Unseelies

And lastly Arcana in the form of:

  • Weapons
  • Dolls
  • Clusters
  • Bombs
  • Golems
  • Snolls
  • Magic Pots

Defeating a specified number of foes on each floor will award each player with a temporary item labeled with the Area, Sector, and Floor number the item was obtained from (e.g. obtaining the appropriate amount of data for Temenos - Central floor 1 gives the Central Temenos F1 temporary item.)

  • There will periodically be one monster among all the various families in the zone that will check "Impossible to gauge!" This NM, when defeated, will spawn a shimmering point on the ground somewhere labeled ???. Upon examining the point, the player will be rewarded with 3,000 bonus "Temenos Units."
    • Suggested conditions for the NM spawning are that it is a lottery style spawn among all the monsters within all floors and sectors of Temenos whose window opens 72 hours (real-time) after the ??? has despawned or disappeared.Verification Needed[1]
