Obtaining
After reaching level 75 and Rank 10 
players can obtain a 1 time reward of any stage 4, incomplete, Relic Weapon, from among other rewards.
After reaching level 100 in any craft players can obtain a 1 time reward of any stage 5, completed, Relic Weapon.
All 
can do the original Relic Weapon upgrades by finding a starting item drop in Dynamis.
CatseyeXI Changes
All DMG+ augments (obtained via the first 3 Trial of the Magians) also add the same amount of Resist "Death". For example, DMG+2 is now DMG/Resist "Death"+2
Specific Relic Weapon Changes
Ragnarok: Rune Fencer added.

Exchanging a Relic Weapon
In the event that a Relic weapon is not what one hoped for, players may exchange one for another:
- Trade the old weapon and 5 million gil to the final stage nameless spot for the weapon you want (see locations section of the https://www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Category:Relic_Weapons#Locations page)
- Then trading the base Relic item.
Example: You want Aegis and currently have Mandau. You go to Carpenter's Landing, trade the Mandau and 5 million gil to the nameless target, then the Relic Shield.
