Dynamis 2.0 is a customized version of the retail Dynamis which exists within the same Dynamis zone. Base functionality including most drop rates, procing, pop items, base upgrades, monster behavior, etc are retail accurate or based upon it. However, scaled down RUN and GEO relic armor or post lvl 75 equipment, the "Rank Points" augment system for all relic armor and accessories, how NMs scale, and drops from force spawned "Chapter" NMs are all CatsEyeXI specific changes. Requirements Players wishing to enter Dynamis have the same historic requirements. Level 65+ and Rank 6 or higher in one of the nation's missions. Level 75 is recommended. Zone into Xarcabard for a cutscene. Examine any Trail Markings in any of the three starter cities or Jeuno to receive another cutscene and the Key Item Vial of Shrouded Sand. Bastok Mines (K-8), Southern San d'Oria (L-6), Windurst Walls (C-12), or Ru'Lude Gardens (I-9) The Goblin NPCs near the entrances in Beadeaux (E-7), Castle Oztroja (F-8), and Davoi (J-7) will now do business with you. Trade 50,000 gil to one of the above Goblin NPCs in the Beastmen strongholds to purchase the permanent Prismatic hourglass. Timeless Hourglasses and Perpetual Hourglasses are no longer relevant, purchasable, or usable. Should you still possess one, you may trade it to one of the Goblin NPCs in the Beastmen strongholds for a refund. Note: Players have a 1 hour cooldown on re-entering the same Dynamis zone after exiting. They may enter any other zone they have access to as each zone has its own cooldown timer. Players that lose connection reconnect to the zone as they normally would while their time will continue counting down while they are gone.

Note: If a player disconnects from Dynamis instead of leaving naturally then their Granules of Time Key Items are not removed upon reconnecting. If this happens a player must enter any Dynamis zone and leave to trigger their removal. Otherwise they will not gain time extensions on their next entrance.

Unlike AF+1 Augments, GEO and RUN Relic must first be upgraded to +1 versions before augmenting their armor.
These pieces are traded to Sagheera in Port Jeuno the same as for any other Relic +1 upgrades.

• Unlike other jobs that require -1 equipment. GEO and RUN are custom and require other materials along with the base item dropped from foes in Dynamis.
• Uniquely, GEO and RUN +1 is returned immediately rather than the next game day.

Notorious Monsters

NMs in these zones are designed to be mostly retail accurate. Any good information to these existing retail NMs that you find on the BG Wiki, AH.com, or old otherwise BG forum posts should be relevant. However, some custom changes have been made on CatsEye, which are outlined in the tables below.

All Dynamis 2.0 Notorious Monsters are immune to Silence, Sleep, and Lullaby.

• Ordinary Dynamis Notorious Monsters that drop the pop items for lesser zone boss clears are excluded from this.

Rage timers are as follows:

• "Chapter" Notorious Monsters have a rage timer of 15 minutes.
• City/Glacier Arch zone bosses have a rage timer of 30 minutes.
• Dreamland Arch bosses have a rage timer of 15 minutes.

Spawning

Each NM is force spawned at a specific ??? via a corresponding item. These are detailed on the actual dynamis pages on the wiki. ???s respawn right after the foe is vanquished.

One minor difference for CEXI's Dynamis is for the four cities (Bastok, Jeuno, etc), all foes have 2.0 pop items pooled as a drop instead of one to a specified group. The other zones follow the correct retail pattern of certain monsters only dropping certain pop items, as noted on their respective wiki pages.

Drops

The drops of the NMs in Dynamis are custom and denoted below.

Treasure Hunter does not impact the drop rates of equipment or currency of all lesser "Chapter" NMs. This allows players to focus more on strategy than being forced to bring a Thief for every battle. Otherwise, Treasure Hunter increases drop rates as normal.

Each zone boss and 2.0 NM also grants Rank Points to all participants, which are used in the Relic +1 Augment System.

Jackpotolox

Whilst fighting Dynamis 2.0 City Bosses, Jackpotolox will appear mid-fight. If he is defeated before he Self-Destructs, the quality of the boss's loot pool will increase.

Northlands
