CatseyeXI Crafting Guide

Welcome to the CatsEyeXI crafting guide!

This guide will review some basics and provide an optimal skill up path for each craft.

General Information

CatsEyeXI uses the following rates, adjusted from retail.

Main Craft Level Cap: 110
Sub Craft Level Cap: 70
Crafting Skillup Rate: 1.5x
Crafting Skillup Multiplier: 3.0x
Fishing Skillup Rate: 3.0x
Fishing Skillup Multiplier: 1.0x
Owing to their self-found nature, Crystal Warriors may skill all crafts up to 110.

• There are no crafting myths active here. Your cardinal direction, day of the week, or weather active will have ZERO impact on the final results.
• You can skill up 11 levels over the item's natural cap.
• Adv.Support gives -30% Item loss on break chance.

Crafting Levels

• For every craft skill at level 30 or higher, your rate of material loss on any failed synth is reduced by 1%.
• For every craft skill at level 50 or higher, your rate of material loss is reduced by another 1%.
• For every craft skill at level 70 or higher, your rate of material loss is reduced by another 1%, and your overall synthesis success rate increases by 1%.
  • This means that if you have all craft skills at level 70, you will innately have:
    
  • A -24% chance to lose a material after a synth break
    
  • A +8% chance to all synth success rates
• (Note that the the chance to lose each material after a synth break can be no lower than 20%, and success rate can be no higher than 99%.)

The /lastsynth command works and can be used such as in the following example macro.


Taking your craft to 110 level skill is possible, but you will have challenges as this is a level 75 capped server, and many of the materials post skill cap 100 are not available. Take advantage of skill ups over natural recipe caps.

Kupo Shield	Leveling a craft to 100, purchasing the "Way of the <craft>" Guild Point Key Item, and trading the requested item to Nudara in Bastok Markets (I-8), will grant the player with a Kupo Shield.
Midras's Helm +1	Purchased with 3000 Venture Points at Populox in Upper Jeuno.

Crafting Torques

These can be found in treasure caskets inside dungeons or purchased from from Domain Officer in Upper Jeuno at (G-9) for 15,000 Domain Invasion Beads.

Crafting Stalls

Mega moglification is available after placing a crafting stall in your moghouse. This will give you + 5 skill to your craft. Trade your items to a synergy furnace to receive your crafting stall. This is a custom synergy recipe for CatsEyeXI, and can be found on the Synergy page.

Click below to view suggested items to skill up on for your craft. Crafting kits are sold by guild vendors. They increase exponentially in cost as you level up. It is thus not recommended for a player to use kits to skill up.
