Storing your items

Each slip can be purchased from the Moogle for a one-time fee of 1,000 gil. Slips are items that go into your regular inventory.

• You only need to pay once for each slip. Depositing and withdrawing items on a slip is free once you have that slip.

To store items: in the same trade window, trade the moogle a slip plus 1-7 items you wish to store on it. The slip will be returned to you afterwards.

• Each storable item is associated with one specific type of slip. The slip you trade and the items must match, or else the moogle will reject it.
• If you are unsure of which slip to use for an item, simply trade that item to the Moogle, and you will be informed of the correct slip.
  • If you already own the corresponding slip, the Porter Moogle will tell you where it is.
• You can only add 1-7 items to a slip per trade, but a single slip can hold significantly more items than that.
• Signed items will lose their signature upon being stored.
• Equipment currently undergoing a Magian Trial cannot be stored until completed. (As of Feb. 14, 2011. Any items with an active trial stored before that date have had all trial progress erased.)

To withdraw items: trade the Moogle a slip, and you can select from a list of items that you have stored on that slip.

• Storage slips cannot be discarded unless all stored items are retrieved first.
• For items with an Enchantment, their cooldown timers will be set to maximum and start counting down upon being withdrawn.

Notes

• The maximum number of items that can be placed in one slip is 192, according to a JP Dev Tracker post.
  • This is why some slips have I, II, and III on them.
