- Mythic weapon TP tiers are based on 1.5x the TP when the weapon skill is used
- For example, you will receive the Aftermath level 3 effect for a 2000 TP weapon skill
- Mythic weapon TP tiers are based on 1.5x the TP when the weapon skill is used
- Aftermath will now overwrite itself at the same tier if doing so would extend its duration.

Creation
Note: Rune Fencer and Geomancer have Mythic Weapon equivalents in the form of Ergon Weapons
While Nyzul Isle Investigation is completable on LSB, much of the other necessary content for Mythic Weapons is not implemented. Owing to this, there is an improvised quest line to get your weapon.
Starting:
- Repeatable: Yes
- Starting NPC: Nonoroon, in Aht Urhgan Whitegate at (I-11).
- Ending NPC: Seaprince's Tombstone, in Caedarva Mire at (E-10) on Map 1.
Acquiring The Base Weapon
To receive your base weapon you'll need to speak to Nonoroon, Aht Urhgan Whitegate (I-11) while on your main job and in possession of at least 6,000 Zeni (ZNM) points.
- He will ask you for 5
Imperial Gold Pieces. Upon trading, Nonoroon will deduct the zeni points from your currencies.
- Note: Be sure you are on The job that you want the base weapon for!
Obtaining Zeni
Just as in retail, players must take photographs of monsters in order to satisfy Sanraku's Def Leppard fueled desires.
- Unlike in retail, there is no bonus multiplier. When you take a picture it is simply a random amount of Zeni rewarded, no matter the target, or distance.
- A good technique is to find a low level mob outside any of the starting nations, cast Dia once, then just snap away as it stays in front of you.
See Zandjarl at (F-7) in The Colosseum and trade them
Imperial Gold Pieces to receive Jettons. You then may purchase Soul Trappers and Soul Plates with Jettons. The main door to The Colosseum does not work, you must enter via The Pit entrance at K11.
- You may use both the
Soultrapper and
Soultrapper 2000 by equiping and using the other while it's recast cools down.
Trade Sanraku at (E-8) in Aht Urhgan Whitegate your successful
Soul Plate in exchange for Zeni.
Achieving Mercenary Captain Rank
Since assaults are not fully implemented, your Assault rank on CatsEyeXI will be directly connected to your mission progress, plus a small currency cost, see CEXI ToAU missions for more information.
- Total Imperial currency needed will be 60 Bronze, 60 Silver, 60 Mithril, and 30 Gold to achieve Captain.
Collecting Alexandrite
Alexandrite and
Alexandrite Purses now drop from Einherjar and from Beastmen around Aht Urghan.
Paparoon, Nashmau (G-7) has been coded to store your Alexandrite.
- He will not accept bags or pouches, break everything down to alexandrite first.
A total of 30,000 Alexandrite is required for your mythic weapon. Once the required amount has been traded, Paparoon will deduct 30,000 Alexandrite from your stored balance, you'll be rewarded a
Cat's Eye, and you'll be sent on a journey to acquire some Zeni NM (ZNM) drops.
- He will not give you a Cat's Eye until you achieve Mercenary Captain rank, but will still store up to 29,999 Alexandrite.
Required Items
For the second phase of the quest, you will be required to procure the items below. You can obtain them in any order.
Tinnin's Fang
Sarameya's Hide
Tyger's Tail
Gurfurlur's Helmet
Ja Ja's Chestplate
Medusa's Armlet
Cat's Eye
Imp. Gold Piece x99- Note: Players also are required to have previously at one point obtained the titles from the following NMs:
- Gurfurlur the Menacing
- Cerberus
- Gulool Ja Ja
- Hydra
- Medusa
- Khimaira
- Players who choose a "Mythos Token" from their New Player Milestone will skip the requirement of the Helmet, Chestplate, Armlet, and titles when trading it with the other aforementioned items.
- When creating a mythic weapon, players may also substitute any one trophy (HNM or ZNM) with a Balrahn's Eyepatch obtained from Einherjar (100,000 Therion Ichor).
HNM Trophies
CatsEyeXI offers a unique alternative for players to obtain the three HNM-King trophies. Alongside their usual drop from their respective HNM's, players may also force-pop these three HNMs with items obtained from ISNM's!
- Fang of Stheno (Medusa pop)
- Dawnservant Drum (Gulool Ja Ja pop)
- Mubtakir Naphtha (Gurfurlur pop)
Pop items are traded to a new pedestal in each HNM's lair. Force-spawned HNMs do not affect the normal HNM timers and are guaranteed to drop a EX (Non-tradable) trophy!
ISNM
- CatsEyeXI ISNM's all have a bad luck protection system built in.
- At first, the chance to get a pop item is very low: 1/80 per run (1.25%), however each subsequent run increases the chance at obtaining an item, 1/79, 1/78... until you get a drop, at which point the system resets back to 1/80.

To enter an ISNM, you can speak to Shajaf in Aht Urghan Whitegate as in retail, and spend 2,000 or 3,000 Imperial Standing once per real-life day for a Confidential (Lv60 cap) or Secret (Lv75 cap) Imperial Order.
The nearby Qiqirn 'Shasharoon' can sell you the other order the same real-life day, but the cost for a second order is steep... getting both imperial orders in a single day will cost you 20,000 Imperial Standing total!
Confidential Imperial order (Lv.60)
| Zone | Name | Members | Pop Item |
|---|---|---|---|
| Talacca Cove | Call to Arms | 6 | Fang of Stheno (Medusa) |

Once the above items have been gathered, you will need to trade them to the Seaprince's Tombstone in Caedarva Mire (E-10). You will finally be asked to trade your base weapon to complete building your weapon.
- Trade the base weapon you obtained in the first step and this will complete your Mythic. Congratulations!
Exchanging a Mythic Weapon
In the event that a Mythic Weapon is not what one hoped for, players may exchange one for another:
- Trade your Mythic Weapon to the Seaprince's Tombstone in Caedarva Mire (E-10)
- Visit Nonoroon at Aht Urhgan Whitegate (I-11) on the job you want the new mythic weapon for.
- You must have at least 6000 Zeni, and be level 75.
- After speaking with Nonoroon, trade him 5
Imperial Gold Pieces, and he will give you a new base weapon. - You will be told to go to Paparoon (Nashmau) deduct 10,000
Alexandrite from your balance.
- Once this condition has been met you will be instructed to return to the Seaprince's Tombstone with the new base weapon to collect your reward.
